Q. Arthur Justin Aaron Morris: Is Wind and Unwined Coffee & Wine House independently owned? 

A. Callie Gappa and Selena Rosales: Yes! We are owned by Jeff and Lisa Collien with their daughter Brooke Straks.

Q. Arthur Justin Aaron Morris: How long has this coffee shop been in this location?

A. Callie Gappa and Selena Rosales: Yes, celebrating 2 years in October.

Q. Arthur Justin Aaron Morris: It’s a nice atmosphere, are you planning on keeping it like this?

A. Callie Gappa and Selena Rosales: Yes, with plans to expand.

Q. Arthur Justin Aaron Morris: Where does the name Wind & Unwined Coffee & Wine House come from?

A. Callie Gappa and Selena Rosales: Jeff, Lisa, and Brooke were brainstorming names for the shop and scribbled down the name Wind & Unwined on a napkin. We like to think of the shop as a place to wind up in the morning with a cup of coffee and unwind in the evening with your favorite wine or craft beer.

Q. Arthur Justin Aaron Morris: So it sounds like Thursday & Friday nights are the night to come?

A. Callie Gappa and Selena Rosales: These are our only two late nights, hours Thursday and Fridays are 7 am-9 pm. However, we would love to open up late on other nights in the future.

Q. Arthur Justin Aaron Morris: How would you say Wind & Unwined Coffee & Wine House is different from other coffee shops?

A.Callie Gappa and Selena Rosales: We want our customers to feel at home and feel included and encouraged when they enter our cafe. We love to offer giveaways and events for the community to get involved in, like our Vinyl Nights and special music events and our Barista Challenge and Anniversary Celebrations. Our talented and creative team of baristas also loves to keep the drink menu fresh and current with seasonal drinks. 

Q. Arthur Justin Aaron Morris: Do you have any favorite blends or origins?

Callie Gappa and Selena Rosales: Black & Tan is a customer favorite and our featured dark roast every day. Some other customer and barista favorites are Brazil, Columbia, and Blue Heeler. 

Q. Arthur Justin Aaron Morris: What’s your most popular drink?

Callie Gappa and Selena Rosales: Sea Salt Caramel flavored anything, whether it’s a hot or iced latte or a frappe! Something about the effortless combination of sweet and salty makes this flavor a timeless favorite.
